– (1917-1963) – A Chilling Pair of Relics from the Assassination
of President John F. Kennedy: Two Sections of the Rear Seat, (approximately 2.75" x 3.75"), upon which He and First Lady Jacquelyn Kennedy Sat, when Lee Harvey Oswald Pulled the Trigger on his Mannlicher Carcano Rifle, Tragically Ending the Young President’s Life. One Section, Light Blue, Composed the Main Portion of the Rear Bench Seat. The other Section is Presidential Blue, which Composed the Outside Seat and Upper Seat Trim. The Light Blue Section Clearly shows much Rust-Colored Staining Consistent with Long-Dried Blood — of President Kennedy’s. The Seat Remnants are Accompanied by a Detailed Letter of Provenance on White House Letterhead, Dated November 22, 1982, (Exactly 20 years after the Assassination); Written by White House Technical Service Representative, F. Vaughn Ferguson. |

Ferguson then goes on to Describe the Extensive Modifications that were Made to the Presidential Limousine so that it could be later used by President Lyndon B. Johnson. In the Letter, He Mentions that he Drove the Vehicle from Cincinnati to Washington in Complete Secrecy to Avoid the Press. Ferguson Does Not Mention in the Letter that He Was Stopped in the Middle of the Night in the State of Ohio by the Highway Patrol for Speeding. The Shocked Patrolman did not Complete the Writing of the Speeding Ticket, Once He Became Convinced that this Really was the Limousine of The President Of The United States. |
| Mr. Ferguson Concludes with
Mentioning Details Concerning his 20 Year Career of Service, with The Presidential Limousine, at The White House. Other Items Provided include a Color Photograph of Ferguson, actually Signing the Letter of Provenance as well as a Sadly Chilling Photo of the Bloodied Rear Seat of the Presidential Limousine, after the Assassination of John F. Kennedy. Also, there is a Copy of a Newspaper Article Featuring Ferguson which References his Involvement with the Ill-Fated Limousine. | Evelyn Lincoln, Secretary to
John F. Kennedy, for 12 Historic Years, led Raleigh DeGeer Amyx to a Bookend straight From the desk of JFK. Mrs. Lincoln presented the Bookend to Mr. Amyx along with detailed historical Provenance on White House Stationary. The Gold and Black Bookend (8.25" x 6"), is in the design of a wind-swept Eagle, nestled above Golden Stars. JFK, an avid reader, would have found Bookends an essential part of his daily and political Life. A JFK bookend is to Be Seen in Front of Senator Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy in the Bottom Center Portion of the Picture Below. Actually, JFK had more than one set of these exact same style eagle bookends, just as many other people have, within their own personal library duplicate sets of bookends. Mrs. Lincoln shared one set with my close friend Robert L. White as a gift. She sold one other set plus a single bookend to me. I was a friend of Mrs. Lincoln. But the difference was that while the President's Secretary liked me - well she loved Robert White. |
